2026 Mission Trip
This February, we’re sending a team from Desert Church to Sierra Leone, Africa, to partner with Dream Again Home - a ministry caring for orphaned and vulnerable children.
Why it matters
Right now, more than 50 children share limited space - sleeping 3 or more to a bed. When the new building is complete, the Dream Again Home will be able to house up to 100 kids - with classrooms, discipleship programs, and a full-time pastor living on site.
This trip isn’t just about building walls - it’s about building a future.
Construction: Help complete the second story and roof of the new orphanage building.
Community Outreach: Lead VBS programs and share the gospel with local children.
Church Support: If resources allow, assist a Foursquare church in Kamakwe with tractor repairs and school improvements.
OUR MISSION
We’re forming a diverse team of:
Builders & Tradespeople – to work on construction and repairs.
VBS & Kids Team Members – to lead children’s activities and teach about Jesus.
Prayer & Financial Partners – to help fund materials and travel costs.
